If you like art and feel like you’ve had enough of the art gallery for a bit then on the Headrow for now then head on down to Lotherton Hall at Aberford in Leeds to view Sutton Taylor’s exhibition. Entitled Lustre, it is an exhibition of Taylor’s colorful ceramics that he created throughout his career. Most of these pieces are up for sale. The exhibition is also a focus on the tricky technique itself: applying metallic paint to ceramics. It is quite a challenging technique and involves a thin glass film over the ceramic.
Sutton Taylor was born in Keighley, near Bradford and have a lifelong passion for pottery. His works can also be seen at the Hart Gallery in London.
The Lustre exhibition will be available from the 3rd of June to the 31st of August at Lotherthon Hall.
